Mongolia Travel

We were introduced to Liberty Power and our guide Batmunkh by another couple who had visited Mongolia the previous year. As this was our first visit to Mongolia, we were initially apprehensive about the travel and lodging arrangements. However, we received a detailed itinerary in advance and were able to tailor it to our interests, resulting in a full 10-day journey covering key attractions in Ulaanbaatar and destinations across TOV Province, including Kharkhorin, Tsenkher Hot Springs, Khorgo Volcano, Erdene-Zuu Monastery, Mini Gobi, Hustai National Park and Terelj National Park. Highlights included visiting a Nomad’s Ger and tasting freshly made airag (fermented mare’s milk), fishing in the scenic Chuluut River, hiking with our guide—an expert mountaineer—and golfing at the Chinggis Khan Golf Club in Terelj. Travel in a Toyota Land Cruiser equipped with Starlink internet was extremely comfortable, and our guide consistently ensured our safety and well-being throughout the trip.
